The ceremony will be August 5, 2007 at the Febuary Hill Bed & Breakfast in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
The website for the B&B says:
The rich history of these grounds was fashioned by a duel of President Andrew Jackson and providing a home to Civil War army general Reuben Frank Bernard. Most recently, it was the home of Dr. Burgin Dossett, a past president of East Tennessee State University. Jonesborough residents refer to the home as the Dossett house located on Febuary Hill.Obviously, this will soon include a line about the historic union of Barrett and Johnson.
Your first option should be to get in touch with us closer to the date of the ceremony, as we will be doing our best to accomodate anyone who is interested with Ruth's terrifically generous friends and family. Once we run out of space -- and for those who prefer a hotel room to a cot or a couch -- we are recommending the Jonesborough AmericInn. We will probably be reserving some number of rooms here for the wedding, so again, get in touch with us closer to the day of for details.
There are a lot of ways to do this, but here are a couple of ideas. Obviously, you can fly directly to the airport in Johnson City, TN. However, this is a small airport, so that may be comparatively expensive. Another idea is the Piedmont Triad International airport in Greensboro, North Carolina -- if you want to fly in there, it may be possible to arrange for a ride into Tennessee with Todd's friends or relatives. Again, get in touch with us when you're making plans and we'll try to help out.
Finally, if you're coming from a town between Boston and North Carolina on I-95, you may want to speak with the best man about a road trip which you might could get in on.
Because I'm a sucker for new Google tools, I created a map of the wedding, on which I have marked meaningful sites related to our nuptials. This way it will be easy for you to see where the wedding will be held, find out if you live close enough to Tony or someone's mom to get a ride, send us cookies in the mail, etc.
