We have decided to do something different for our registry. Rather than registering a few items each at several stores, we've put together our own registry on this website. We like this for a number of reasons. One reason is that it gives us a chance to write a little bit about each item, so that you know better why or how much we think we need it. Another reason is that it gives you -- armed with this knowledge -- a chance to comparison shop. If we found a toaster we liked at Crate & Barrel, but you found it for half-off on Amazon.com, we think that's fantastic, and we want you to be able to get it there without worrying that someone else will still get one at Crate & Barrel.
